Dan Jilka is co-owner of MR Seattle. He is responsible for leading and directing the operations of the Avionics and Aerospace team. He not only recruits in Avionics and Aerospace, he has spent his nearly 45 year career in this industry. He is a senior member of IEEE.

Dan co-founded a highly successful software engineering firm that grew from 2 to 100 engineers and $13 million dollars in annual sales within 8 years. It was recognized as one of the 50 fastest growing private companies in the northwest for 3 years in a row. The business was sold in 1999.
Dan spent 22 years at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in Avionics Engineering. He was an Avionics Systems and Hardware Engineer before being promoted to Avionics Manager. As Manager, he supervised hardware, systems, and software groups and managed teams of up to 100 engineers. In addition, Dan has spent another 22 years in Avionics Engineering recruitment and placement with Management Recruiters of Seattle and is well-respected in Avionics Engineering placement.
